The 2019 Grammys kick off at 8 p.m. ET tonight (Sunday, Feb. 10) on CBS, airing live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles until about 11:30 p.m. Singer Alicia Keys, a 15-time Grammy winner, will host this year’s broadcast for the first time.

The Recording Academy and Clive Davis have announced the Feb. 9 2019 GRAMMY Salute To Industry Icons gala will honor Clarence Avant, the multi-faceted music industry executive also known as the Godfather of Black Music.

On Dec. 7, the 2019 GRAMMY nominations will be announced, making dreams come true for artists and music creators across many genres, locations, ages, and walks of life. And while nominees will have to wait until the 61st GRAMMY Awards air on CBS Feb. 10, 2019 for the final results,
